A course in coagulation theory, procedures, and practical applications.

Includes quality control, quality assurance, safety and laboratory procedures which rely on commonly performed manual and/or semi-automated methods.

Utilizes a student laboratory for experiences in basic coagulation procedures.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Medical Laboratory Technician program and approval by the program director.

Semester Hours 2 (1 lec/2 lab).
