Paramedicine

Knowledge and skills to safely manage multi-casualty incidents and rescue situations, utilize air medical resources, identify hazardous materials and other specialized incidents.

Prerequisites: Students must have current Texas EMT certification.

Successful completion of EMSP 1161, 1438, 1455, 1456, 2137, 2306, and EMSP 2434.

Must contact EMS/Paramedicine program director to be advised on immunization details, application process, and procedures.

Semester Hours: 3 (2 lec/2 lab).
