RADRL 1311 01 (Laboratory) - Basic Radiographic Procedures

Introduces radiographic positioning terminology, the proper manipulation of equipment, positioning and alignment of the anatomical structure and equipment, and evaluation of images for proper demonstration of basic anatomy.
Covers positioning of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities, shoulder and pelvic girdles.
Includes common procedures utilizing contrast media.
Prerequisite: Program Acceptance.
Semester Hours 3 (3 lec/2 lab).
