Spanish

The consolidation of skills acquired at the introductory level.

Further development of proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Emphasis is on comprehension, appreciation, and interpretation of the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.

Prerequisite: SPAN 1412, three years of high school Spanish, or consent of instructor or division chair.

Students with three years of high school Spanish are encouraged to see a Spanish instructor prior to enrolling.
