Introduction to surgical procedures and related pathologies.
Emphasis is on surgical procedures related to Genitourinary, otorhinolaryngological, ophthalmology, thoracic, peripheral vascular, plastic/reconstructive, ophthalmology, oral/maxillofacial, cardiac, and neurological surgical specialties incorporating instruments, equipment, and supplies required for preoperative patient care.
Prerequisite: Take SRGT 1441 with a minimum grade of C or better as well as successful completion of the first semester of SRGT courses.
Semester Hours 5 (4 lec/2 lab).
