EMSP 2271 076 - Simulation in Respiratory Care

Provides an advanced presentation of anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system.
Case presentations and computer-assisted simulations assist the student to develop critical thinking skills in assessing and providing life-saving medical interventions in the pre-hospital environment.
Prerequisites: EMT students must meet the requirements for admission into the EMT program.
Must contact EMS/Paramedicine program director to be advised on immunization details, application process and deadlines.
Semester Hours 2 (1 lec/2 lab).
