Paramedicine

A study of drug classifications, actions, therapeutic uses, adverse effects, routes of administration, and calculation of dosages.

Includes 30 hours of clinical experiences.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of EMSP 1161, 1438, 1455, 1456, and 2137.

Students must have current Texas EMT certification.

Semester Hours: 3 (3 lec/3 lab).
