An overview of the interpreting process and models of interpretation.
Introduces the skills necessary to achieve dynamic message equivalence in interpreting American Sign Language (ASL) to English and English to ASL.
Prerequisite: SGNL2301 with a grade of C or consent of Program Director.
Semester Hours 4 (3 lec/2 lab).
