In-depth coverage of health care concepts with application through selected exemplars.
Concepts include acid-base balance, coping, clotting, cognition, fluid and electrolytes, gas exchange, elimination, immunity, metabolism, nutrition, comfort, and perfusion.
Provides continuing opportunities for development of clinical judgment skills.
The course lends itself to a concept-based approach.
Prerequisites: RNSG 1161, 1125, 1128, 1216, 1430 and BIOL 2402 Corequisite: RNSG 2362 Semester Hours: 5 (4 lec/4 lab).
