Paramedicine

Knowledge and skills to safely manage multi-casualty incidents and rescue situations, utilize air medical resources, identify hazardous materials and other specialized incidents.

Prerequisites: Students must have current Texas EMT certification and must meet EMS/Paramedicine program director for advising.

Successful completion of EMSP 1161, EMSP 1438, EMSP 1455, EMSP 1456, EMSP 2237, EMSP 2306, and EMSP 2434.

Corequisite: EMSP 2430, EMSP 2162, EMSP 2444 and EMSP 2137.

Semester Hours: 3 (2 lec/2 lab).
