Paramedicine

Knowledge and skills necessary to assess and manage ill or injured patients in diverse populations to include neonatology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and other related topics.

Prerequisites: Current Texas EMT Certification.

Students must meet with EMS/Paramedicine program director for advising.

Successful completion of EMSP 1161, 1438, 1455,1456, 2137, 2306, and 2434.

Corequisites: EMSP 2162, EMSP 2164, EMSP 2237, EMSP 2305, and EMSP 2444.

Semester Hours 4 (3 lec/3 lab).
