RADRL 1311 003 (Laboratory) - Basic Radiographic Procedures

An introduction to radiographic positioning terminology, manipulation of equipment, positioning and alignment of the anatomical structure and equipment, and evaluation of images for demonstration of basic anatomy.
Covers positioning of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities, shoulder and pelvic girdles.
Includes common procedures utilizing contrast media.
Prerequisite: Program Acceptance.
Semester Hours 3 (3 lec/2 lab).
