Continuation of advanced chromaticism and survey of analytical and compositional procedures in post-tonal music.

Optional correlated study at the keyboard.

Must have taken MUSI 2311, MUSI 2116, MUSI 1181 or MUAP 1169 with a minimum grade of C or division chair approval.

Must be concurrently enrolled in MUSI 2117 and MUSI 2182 or MUAP 1169 or MUAP 1269 or have division chair approval.
