Paramedicine

A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills and concepts.

This course allows/requires both hospital and pre-hospital experiences under the supervision of a qualified preceptor.

Prerequisites: Current Texas EMT Certification.

Must have acceptable TSIA Assessment scores or equivalent.

Must contact EMS/Paramedicine program director for advising.

Corequisites: EMSP 1438, EMSP 1455, EMSP 1456, and EMSP 2237.

Semester Hours 1 (6, clinical hours/week).
