Paramedicine

Application of emergency medical procedures.

This course was designed to improve sudent proficiency of intermediate and advanced level of emergency care.

This course includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor component.

Prerequisites: Students must have current Texas EMT certification and acceptable TSIA scores or equivalent.

Students must be advised by the EMS/Paramedicine program director.

Corequisites: EMSP 1161, 1438, 1455, and 1456.

Semester Hours: 2 (3 lab hrs).
