EMSP 2306 076 - Emergency Pharmacology

A study of drug classifications, actions, therapeutic uses, adverse effects, routes of administration, and calculation of dosages.
Includes 30 hours of clinical experiences.
Prerequisites: Students must have current Texas EMT certification.
Studets must meet EMS/Paramedicine program director for advising.
Successful completion of EMSP 1161, EMSP 1438, EMSP 1455, EMSP 1456, and EMSP 2237.
Corequisite: EMSP 2434.
Semester Hours: 3 (3 lec/3 lab).
